| The aim of
our festival is to encourage and promote a high standard
in the performing arts, including vocals, instrumental music
and speech. |

year, to celebrate the Queen's Jubilee, we have REDUCED
the entry fees by £1! |
| The
festival is a series of competitions for vocalists, choirs
and instrumentalists as well as for verse speaking and readings
in public. |
| We
provide a platform for amateur performers of all ages and
abilities, in a friendly but competitive atmosphere. |
| Our
festival is often the first platform for many future professionals
- 80% of performers competing nationally are under 18 years.
